When I try to emerge frozen-bubble I get the following errormessage:
Code:

/usr/i686-pc-linux-gnu/bin/ld: cannot find -lGL
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status

There is something wring with my opengl-libs, right?

I've previously emerged games which use opengl and have had no problems... what should I do?
Thanks in advance

If you have opengl libs merged (xfree or nvidia) try to set the one you use with opengl-update (as root).

Ok, I'll try that... (since I don't have a nvidia card in the box nor have installed any nvidia drivers it will hopefully be the xfree openglstuff that I've messed up somehow :) )

I am experiencing a rather perplexing situation. I have an ATI Radeon 7500 in a Dell i8100, DRI works just fine (tuxracer, glxgears work); my OpenGL seems to be in order. After a (as root) "opengl-update xfree" (opengl-update v. 1.4), glxinfo reports:

The error comes when I try to compile (something like) foobillard. Crash and burn, fireworks:

Tuxracer works correctly, and itself emerged fine. However, when "emerge tuxracer" tried to emerge smpeg, I got the same error as above. So, as root, I ran:
> USE="-opengl" emerge smpeg

and that worked. (??????? I have no idea why.)

So I am baffled. If there is something I have done wrong please correct me; if anyone needs more info, please ask.

Thanks in advance.

Oh yeah, I'm using "gcc version 2.95.3 20010315 (release)".
