Now that I have this nice gentoo sparc box, how do I back it up so it does not take a day and half to get going again?

Yep, I know about those, but I was thinking more along the lines of a documented process. I am sure there is more to it than that. |

I haven't read it to see if it's any use but google pulled it up in no time:

Beyond that, you may have some Sparc specific issues regarding the backup target (i.e. disk, tape, CDROM, DVD etc.) but I don't really know given that I only installed Sparc Gentoo for the first time last week . _________________ wibble |
