Hi there,
Anybody knows, how to get Gentoo installed on a RAID1-system (SiI 3112A-Controller)?
I've read much about RAID0-systems but if I try to get it work (with the rc4 "smp"-Kernel) with RAID1 it says something about "No RAID-Array found".
Any hints?

you probably need to enter the bios of your raid card and create (and possibly, depending on the age of the H/W initialize and array)
Make sure the linux kernel supports your raid h/w also, which i', sure it will. Have fun.
