try to run revdep-rebuild... that can solve a part of your problem.

I've partielly 'solve' problem.

I launch nautilus with
Code:
--no-desktop --browser
and it's OK but I can't check the checkbox in pref'window nautilus "*always* opens new browser instance".

I remove via gconf-editor the default "Home Place Icon" on the Desktop ; and I create a new link with "--no-desktop --browser"

I hope this help you.

;)

revdep-rebuild didn't seem to help but I re-emerged nautilus and the problem seems to have gone away.

:D

I'm getting this error after trying to install some Leopard interface stuff for Ubuntu Feista.
What do you mean by re-emerged ? I tried to re-install the nautilus but it's still not working.

"Emerge" is the command to rebuild software packages in Gentoo. It is different to reinstalling in that it also recompiles the software. It seems to me that the recompile worked though I am not sure why. I think there may have been an incompatibility between nautilus and a recently updated library.
