We've a Sun Workstation here which runs the management software for our SDH (SONET) network. I've set up a linux box (running RedHat 9) in our RMC and written a script that SSHs to the management server and launches the management app, exporting the display to the linux machine, for remote monitoring purposes.
However, there appears to be a problem with colours - all of the icons on the main screen of the management app are purple, where they should be green, red, yellow etc. depending on the status of the element. In the navigation view (basically a small 'map' of the entire network) each element is coloured properly.
I know that this isn't strictly Gentoo and may not even be a Sun problem, but does anyone have any idea why some colours are messed up like this? I should probably add that on a machine running Reflection X, the icons are fine.
Any hints or help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance. _________________ Dermot
