Hey, my mandrake box turns off when it finishes with the halt command. How come my gentoo boxes don't? What do I need to do for this to happen. They both turn off when I shutdown windows. They both have atx power supplies.
Thanks,
Tim |

You have to enable power management support in you kernel.
Enabling these options has worked for me.
Code: | [*] Power Management support
< > Advanced Power Management BIOS support
ACPI Support --->
[*] ACPI Support
< > AC Adapter
< > Battery
< > Button
< > Fan
< > Processor
< > Toshiba Laptop Extras
[ ] Debug Statements |
