I'm new to Gentoo, and I recently installed it on this machine, and amd64. I have CFLAGS -02 -march=athlon64 and -pipe. After

Code:
emerge --update --newuse --deep world

I get:

Quote:
* Messages for package sys-apps/module-init-tools-3.4:

*
* ERROR: sys-apps/module-init-tools-3.4 failed.
* Call stack:
* ebuild.sh, line 49: Called src_compile
* environment, line 2463: Called die
* The specific snippet of code:
* emake || die "emake module-init-tools failed"
* The die message:
* emake module-init-tools failed
*
* If you need support, post the topmost build error, and the call stack if relevant.
* A complete build log is located at '/var/tmp/portage/sys-apps/module-init-tools-3.4/temp/build.log'.
* The ebuild environment file is located at '/var/tmp/portage/sys-apps/module-init-tools-3.4/temp/environment'.

Here is /var/tmp/portage/sys-apps/module-init-tools-3.4/temp/build.log
