|
|
I've just emerged j2ee successfully but form some reason it does not show up when I do a "java-config --show-available-vms". I did some searching and I found this post: https://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic.php?t=56715&highlight=j2ee
Followed it but still nothing. Anybody have any other suggestions ? Thanks in advance...

well, as far as I understood, j2ee is an application server running on top of j2se.
so, j2se should appear as a vm, and if you need j2ee jars, add them to your classpath..

samokk is correct.
J2EE is a framework for creating web applications. That is why it does not show up in the list of available VMs. |
