|
|
Hi!
I'm trying to set up polish special characters (such as: ąśół - probably You won't see them ) on console. After typing "locale" I can see that all variables are set to "POSIX" instead of "pl_PL"...
How (and where) can I change it to polish language?
Do I need any additional fonts to write in polish?
Any advice would be helpful.

Use this:
export LANG=pl_PL _________________ Do you want your posessions identified? [ynq] (n) |

Thanks!
But that only changed the system's language. In order to have those special characters I had to set CONSOLEFONT="lat2-12" in /etc/rc.conf, because default8x16 didn't work.
Lat2 isn't very beautiful font, but better this than nothing.
Do You know any sites, where I can get additional fonts?

If I want to set another language, what to export?
I mean, where I can see a list of parameters?
