Hi,
I'm looking for the correct driver to get my Realtek AL889A sound chip work under gentoo. So far, aintel_hda gave me no results...
Thanks for your help. |

There are probably two ways to find the right driver (if one exist).
- Boot a Knoppix LiveCD and test if sound works. If so do a lsmod and find the module name for sound.
- Do a lspci, find the sound hardware and search for this name or PCI-ID on the web. If you want you can post the output line for sound here.
