Forum is moving fast...

Hello fellow users of the Gentoo :wink:

This is just something I've noticed...of late the forum must have been growing a aweful lot....I mean I come to read on here 5-6 times a day and there's over 100 new posts everytime....and just in the time it takes to read one topic there's 3 new posts....things are moving horribly fast....

I'm almost worried that if I need help and post on here, my post will be forgotten before somebody even has a look at it.....

Do you guys think something like that could happen? Should somebody start looking into it? Frankly I don't know so i'm just mentioning it. I'm member of a lot of other Forums and I haven't ever seen any other forum moving as fast as this one....woa do things fly around here. Well I guess it's a good sign that the Gentoo community is doing good

I wouldn't worry it seems to be pretty rare for a post to go unanswered.
Also this forum goes fater due to compile-time optimizations :twisted:

I agree that the forum does go fast, I always like to use the "See posts since last visit" feature, and I dread missing a few days and 500-600 posts build up. I hope that phpbb eventually gets feature to remove some forums automatically when you do the last visited thing (like remove all the internation posts that I know I won't read).

Nope I haven't really set foot in an IRC channel since my ADnD on IRC middle school days.
