Hovdy fellow Gentoo users.
I was wondering, since I'm kind of a newbie to linux, if I need to compile UDF(dvd, cdrom ...) support into my kernel, what is the best way to do it?
Does "make dep" do the trick? I don't want to overwrite my modules and stuff by using "make dep && make clean ..." as used in the beginning.
It would be nice to get some kind of a feedback about kernel compiling such as this.
Best regards,

I don't know if there is a way to avoid overwriting your modules. Recompiling the kernel
is the same as in the Install Guide (Code listing 25). I know that alsa and nvidia modules
to need to be recompiled afterwards. Disregard if you already knew this. _________________ Quis separabit? Quo animo? |
