Hey fellows,
I have a very annoying issue here. We have migrated a qmail server from Suse to Gentoo. Unfortunately, looks like the virtual domains do not work correctly.
If I use local users, authentication works; however, on the virtual domain nothing works, it always fails. See below:

This is fine, it's a local user. However:

I recall that there was some kind of change with the authentication prgram, is that maybe the issue?
The logs do not display anything unusual:

Could anyone try to help out on doing a simple example of how to configure qmail with vpopmail (without mysql), e.g. configuration files, scripts and so on? I'm very confused about all this issue.

Additional informatin when trying to authenticate against SMTP server:

Now, I created a new virtual domain called superman by doing:

Then I added a user to that domain:

When I try to log into pop3 of that user I get:

A directory 'superman' is created under domains of vpopmail.
