I have just recently re-installed gentoo on my laptop ... I cannot boot via cdrom for some reason, so I have no choice but to use a boot floppy.. all is good except one small problem, I have no support for my pcmcia card.
Since the tomsrtbt bootdisk no longer works, I have found myself trying various alternatives for a bootdisk, with no luck getting my card working. So now I sit here quite upset about this whole mess. :/
Hopefully, when I awaken, I will find some response to this that will be of some help, until then sleep
btw - would it kill ya guys at gentoo to make a boot floppy designed for gentoo? this is my only complaint, now I sleep.
Many Thanks. |
