.Hey all,
I need to download some files from an ftp sever over my current network, but the connection keep timing out and failing.
Someone suggested I used passive mode for ftp since the problem may be a network problem.
I am not too familiar with gentoo, so I'd like to know how can I check to see what mode my system will be accessing ftp files through the terminal and how can I change to passive ftp mode if necessary.
