When compiling the kernel during the install, I get the following error

Make : *** No rule to make target 'bzimage'. Stop.

Any ideas as to what's wrong? I'd really appreciate some help!! :D

Unix is case-sensitive; it's "make bzImage" with a capital I.

You gotta love it when something that has been perplexing you for hours can be answered in 15 seconds by someone stating a common sense fact about the basics of Unix-like OS's that you already knew... :P its happened to me many times.

The ugly font used in install directions is easily mistaken for lower case, tripped me up as well Esp as it is lower case in "install.txt" on the puchased CD from Edmunds Ent.
Which brings up another question - why go through the lengthy procedure of Stage 1 up
when 99 cents from the courteous people at Edmunds makes this all redundant ?

So you can adjust the USE variable to your needs, so the system is truley optimized. Or if you have a 586 or less. It is also fun.
