Can someone tell me if it's possible to add a new hdd to a system and just tag it's partition onto the end of a current partition? I would expect I'd have to use LVM.

Basically my server is running out of space on it's /home partition, I have another hdd but rather than rebuilding the server I'd liek to be able to just add the new hdd to the /home partition.

If it's possible can anyone give me some pointers?

Thanks.

never mind I found out. :)

The trick is to make the new hdd an LV then copy the hold partition to it, then reformat the old partition and make it part of the LV.
