Problem with emerge kdevelop

I'm trying to get kdevelop installed but the process hangs at the same spot every time. I went through and installed the dependancies one at a time and found that the one that has the problem is apidocs.

It hangs with the last thing on the screen being: mkdir -p -- ../apidocs.khtml

I left if running over night and it's still in the same spot.

Any ideas?
