| Hi, I was just wondering if anyone has or has a link to the Gentoo Games America's Army Live CD. If this is completely unobtainable that would also be nice to know. Sorry if many people have asked this before, but I need one for school and I can't seem to find a link anywhere. Thanks in advance. |

You need a live cd of a game for school eh  . Anyway there is no Gentoo Live cd with the game, and running a game from a live cd would be slow and painful. Unless you had enough ram to load the entire game anyway. |

Well, It's sorta true. My teacher wants a copy so he's giving 100 extra credit points to the person who brings it in. I know there used to be one, because I found links to it everywhere. Unfortunately, the files have been removed from all of those links.  |

Ya I've been reading that several other places too. Thanks for the link I'll bring in the cd maybe he'll still give credit.

You could try to make up your own liveCD, that would feature just enough hardware support and the game itself. You can find instructions for making your own Gentoo liveCD in the unofficial Gentoo Wiki.

i am currently downloading => then i check if I can get ati-drivers working on this cd.
Now I have to get a DVD to burn it => ...
