I have a problem after installation.I was installing linux by console.Using handbook. After reboot ia get error

fsck.ext3: No such file or derictory while trying to open /dev/Root

/dev/Root:
The superblock couuldn't be read or doesn't describe a correct ext2 filesystem .If the device is valid and it really contains an ext2 filesystem (and not swap or ufs or something else), then the superblock is corrupt , and you might try running e2fsck with an alternate superblock :
e2fsck - b 8193 <device>

How can i solve this problem? Please help.Newbie one

i would guess you forgot to edit your /etc/fstab after installing everything.

try to boot the gentoo cd again, mount your partitions and edit the etc/fstab file to reflect your partition layout.
