Hello,
I recently installed new gentoo system. Then I managed to configure X and gnome. Everything worked fine, till one day when after logging to gnome my desktop didn't show up. I have no wallpaper, no icons, right click on desktop doesn't work. But there are top and bottom bars and I have access to menus and programs.
My .xsession-error file looks like this:
Code: |
DBUS_SESSION_BUS_ADDRESS=unix:abstract=/tmp/dbus-Bu2Zk4XtE0,guid=7301676e52398bbb389bdb0046c0288e
DBUS_SESSION_BUS_PID=6396
/etc/X11/gdm/Xsession: Beginning session setup...
/etc/X11/gdm/Xsession: Setup done, will execute: /usr/bin/ssh-agent -- gnome-session
SESSION_MANAGER=local/localhost:/tmp/.ICE-unix/6391
Gnome-Message: gnome_execute_async_with_env_fds: returning -1
