Hello

It has been a while I have the same issue. I first think this would be solved with the next emerge --sync but it does'nt seems to change anything.

This happens when it installs mplayer because I am doing an "emerge -DuN world".

Code:
cabac.h:526: erreur: can't find a register in class 'GENERAL_REGS' while reload\
ing 'asm'
make[1]: *** [h264.o] Erreur 1
make[1]: quittant le répertoire ? /var/tmp/portage/media-video/mplayer-1.0.2007\
0622-r1/work/mplayer-20070622/libavcodec ?
make: *** [libavcodec/libavcodec.a] Erreur 2

!!! ERROR: media-video/mplayer-1.0.20070622-r1 failed.
Call stack:
  ebuild.sh, line 1632:   Called dyn_compile
  ebuild.sh, line 983:   Called qa_call 'src_compile'
  ebuild.sh, line 44:   Called src_compile
  mplayer-1.0.20070622-r1.ebuild, line 436:   Called die

!!! Failed to build MPlayer!
!!! If you need support, post the topmost build error, and the call stack if re\
levant.
!!! A complete build log is located at '/var/tmp/portage/media-video/mplayer-1.\
0.20070622-r1/temp/build.log'.

Sorry, part of it is in French ;)

My USE flags :
USE="debug X server gtk+ gtk gtk2 gnome bash-completion dri sound alsa audio jack java cups opengl sdl crypt hal dbus ogg oss video -qt -kde cdparanoia flac lame mad mp3 ogg vorbis mpc dvd"

Thank you very much for your help.

Looks similar to https://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic-p-4018577.html#4018577

Does emerging it without USE="debug" work?
