Quite often I've thought about being a dev and taken a look at the staffing needs page, but I don't quite meet the requirements. I'm a good coder and have a basic grasp of ebuilds, so what can I do?
Perhaps we could have sort of sub-developers, or maintainers; those charged with minor fixes to existing things -- patches, version bumps, etc -- but not charged with maintaining the system at a deep level. People in that position long enough might learn to become full-fledged devs... _________________ Petition for Better 64-bit ATI Drivers - Sign Here
