Ho appena installato lilo.................dopo 2 ore e 1/2 
Pero al primo reboot mi da ripetutamente L 01 01 
Posso usare il cd x chrootare e sistemare il tutto? |

Azz se è pesante installarla...................ma è da tanto che nn mi diverto cosi con il PC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

P.S:nei ck-sources compilandoli nn ho messo il supporto a /proc .......o almeno nn credo.................ho fatto male? |

Certo... qui non devi mica fare setup.exe!!! 
Ma /proc e' un filesystem che serve a molte cose in linux...

Che devi controllare la configurazione del kernel per verificare che hai incluso il necessario per fare il boot, e che devi controllare la configurazione di lilo.

Mi sembra di ricordare che una delle possibili cause di questo errore sia l'impossibilità di lilo di ricavare correttamente dal bios la geometria del disco.
Io ho avuto questo problema con un scheda madre con doppio controller ide integrato e sono riuscito a risolverlo (dopo affannose ricerche :-) solo specificando a manina all'inizio di lilo.conf la geometria dei due dischi fissi collegati. Qualcosa del genere:
