If anyone is having troubles with the LG FlATRON L192ws here is what i did to make it work.

Note: It used to work just fine with 1440x900 resolution using Xorg 7.1 and some older Ati drivers no need for anymodeline or anything, but with Xorg 7.2 and the latest Ati drivers it just wouldnt work and gave an OUT OF RANGE message.

Anyway.. what I did was.. I changed the HorizSync from: 30.0 - 83.0 to 30.0 - 57.0 and I added this modeline in Monitor Section.

Code:

Modeline "1440x900" 106.5 1440 1520 1672 1904 900 903 909 934

So the section endeed up like this:
Code:

Section "Monitor"
        Identifier   "Monitor0"
        HorizSync    30.0 - 57.0
        VertRefresh  56.0 - 75.0
        Modeline "1440x900" 106.5 1440 1520 1672 1904 900 903 909 934
EndSection

I hope this is helpfull for someone :)

You also can get modeline generator from this website http://xtiming.sourceforge.net/cgi-bin/xtiming.pl
All you need is your monitor manual that provide all info such as Refresh Rate, Dot Clock Frequency, Horizontal Sync Rate etc.. then you select what resolution you want for your display. I am using this modeline for my 22" monitor and it looks great. :D
Code:
Modeline      "1680x1050@60" 154.20 1680 1712 2296 2328 1050 1071 1081 1103

I think that the main problem is with your graphics card. I have an LG FlatRon too, and it worked perfectly with the default x.org configuration and an nvidia card.

Are you using DVI? You can make it work without modelines using metamodes, ignoreedidfreqs and other stuff.
