|
|
I'm wondering if there is a way to reset qjackctl to default settings ?
I messed around with settings.. and it can not start/stop jackd.
jackd is ok. I can start it manually... then launch qjackctl .. which connects to jackd.
but when I stop jackd in qjackctl and try to restart.. it gives errors.
my commandline to start jackd manually is simple:
| Quote: | | jackd -v -R -dalsa |
but in qjackctl, the command line has more stuff in it..
| Quote: | jackd -v -R -p128 -dalsa -dhw:0 -r44100 -p1024 -n6 -S
|
after it starts launching, it complains about an error and shutsdown.
I don't get this kind of error with the manual command line launch of jackd.
and after I manually launch it, I can start qjackctl to configure the patchbay...
and for whatever reason, MIDI in qjackctl's Connections window is greyed out..
but under the ALSA tab, my MIDI usb device (UM-3EX) appears... as well as my sound card's midi
is there a way to set qjackctl back to the basics ? is there something else I'm overlooking?
thanks perplexed. TIA
