morgen gente,

un paio di giorni fa avevo installato le gentoo-sources-2.6.21-r4 ma da allora ci sono problemi nel senso che ha problemi a gestire ( secondo me ) l'hard disk formattato ext3 perche ogni volta che lo avio trova file orfani e quando spengo il pc non riesce a smontare il filesystem.....poi non riesce a killare a chiusura di sistema hald e non riesce a gestire bene l'ACPI mi da un sacco di errori.........e poi con i driver ati 8.35.5 al 1 avvio carica bene fglrx...appena mi sloggo e riloggo ha problemi a ricaricare i driver e non li carica piu..........boooooooooohhhhhhhhhh

vi posto il mio dmesg e ditemi che ne pensate.....se volete altro fatemi sapere

probabilmente hai omesso qualcosa nella compilazione dei sorgenti.
Hai usato il .config vecchio come riferimento?
Hai compilato con menuconfig oppure con genkernel? Nel caso che opzioni hai usato per genkernel?
Se hai ancora il vecchio .config, utilizzalo per ricompilare e, dopo, per non avere problemi con i driver video, ricorda di dare
module-rebuild rebuild

Che harddisk hai e come si collega alla mainboard? su che arch sei? stable o testing? poi utilissimi sarebbero i messaggi di errore. ad ogni modo credo che acpi hal e harddisk siano argomenti differenti, quindi è probabile che tu debba aprire post differenti. non scordarti i messaggi di errore di ogni componente.
