kernel 2.6 now has i2c support built in, but is there any way to get lm-sensors to work with 2.6? I haven't found anything with google. _________________ Collins |

You do not need lm_sensors with the 2.6 kernel. i2c is in the kernel, and values are read in /sys/.
On these forums, there's a script that allows you to read these values.
Gkrellm is also able to read from /sys.
But not all sensors work 100%

Also, if you use karamba to monitor your temps, it's possible to use the text file karamba sensor to monitor temps from /sys. The only downside is that 36.5 degrees celcius is displayed as 3650, but it works |
