|
|
Hi,
Are there any current gcc 4.3 snapshots for gentoo? The toolchain overlay wasn't updated for months and doesn't work on amd64 (I guess it's gcc bug 30915).
It's not that I urgedly need gcc, but I would be nice to test whether my programs still work with it. The earlier I can test my applications, the earlier they are compatible and the easier will be the transition to gcc 4.3 for all users of my software.
Thanks,

Thanks, I'll try it. Who's responsible for the gcc toolchain overlay? It would be nice to include this patch, although it's a big hack. Is anybody working on fixing the real underlying issue? |

Moved from Portage & Programming to Duplicate Threads. Use the GCC 4.3 thread in US instead. _________________ www.gentoo.org.au || #gentoo-au |
