Take a look and tell me what I need to re emerge to this to work.
Thanks.

I get a very similar error message with kde-base/arts

!!! ERROR: kde-base/arts-1.1.2 failed.
!!! Function kde_src_compile, Line 123, Exitcode 2
!!! died running emake, kde_src_compile:make

I've tried deleting the file in /usr/portage/distfiles and I've had no luck, I even switched mirrors.

I'm a noob at this (We all start somewhere ;)) but try typing aclocal and try again.

I got the same error message. Hoping that a similar fix for kdebase would work, I went to the directory
/var/tmp/portage/kdeadmin-3.1.3/work/kdeadmin-3.1.3 and ran aclocal
then tried
Code:
ebuild /usr/portage/kdebase/kdeadmin/kdeadmin-3.1.3.ebuild compile

However now I get the messge
Code:

cd . && \
  --foreign Makefile
/bin/sh: line 1: --foreign: command not found
make: *** [Makefile.in] Error 127

Anyone have any ideas?
