you will start up with the 'user'-account, just enter 'user' or 'root' as password, then press 'enter',
it's just some sort of over-precautious shit, sorry (you can't be paranoid enough)
1.) su
2.) type in 'user' or 'root'
3.) 'enter'
4.) you should be in the root account
5.) Have fun
if 'su' then 'enter' doesn't work, try 'sudo su' then enter 'user' or 'root' as password, that should work
as far as I know I always use the combination:
'sudo su', 'enter', then 'user', 'enter'
(ah, well, yes - now I remember - something must be broken with the direct 'su' command, so the last mentioned should definitely work)
good luck
if that doesn't work please provide the direct link to the release which you downloaded, then I'll try to get it 'working' _________________ https://github.com/kernelOfTruth/ZFS-for-SystemRescueCD/tree/ZFS-for-SysRescCD-4.9.0

Well, in fact su does not work, but I just found that sudo su does. Yay!

Yes, exactly that: sudo su, not just su, lol
Thanks very much for the answer (and for the next release, you may want to drop that password )... |

Ah ok...
I understand it takes a lot of time preparing liveCDs releasing them publicly. Anyway, thank you very much for your contribution, it really helped me so far. Thanks, it looks like a very nice liveCD: works very well for me now that the password issue is solved |
