Mythwar Online on wine

Has anyone gotten mythwar online to work under wine?

I just installed wine for the 1st time and am trying to get several programs to work under it but mythwar is a favorite I'd like access to.

I installed mythwar under wine. It blew up when I started it so I copied a windows installed
version over my install on my linux box that got the game started without a keyboard or mouse. Without a keyboard you can't log in.

Any idea/suggestions on the keyboard mouse issue and/or setting the game up??
