FIC A550 and TFT Monitor settings

Hi all,

I have a A550 FIC laptop, it is distributed under the Mecer brand. I am trying to set up X windows but all I could find on the manufacturers (fic) site relating to the machines specs are as follows:

Display Controller

ATI Mobility-M1 with 8MB memory, Dual Display

LCD Displays

12.1” TFT 800 x 600 Resolution (SVGA)
13.3” TFT 1024 x 768 Resolution (XGA)
14.1” TFT 1024 x 768 Resolution (XGA)

I am not sure what settings to select when running xf86config. for the card and monitor section. (I see reference a lot to DRI and X windows. but not sure how I am supposed to set this up or what its implcations are. ) If anyone knows how to translate the above spec to Hsync and Vsync rates please let me know.
