It's easy to miss an important message at the end of emerging something, especially if you're emerging more than one package at a time. If you need to read a message that got pushed into oblivion by scrolling text, go to /usr/portage/<directory where the ebuild lives> and type:
| Code: | | ebuild <ebuild name>.ebuild postinst |
If an ebuild has something for you to read, it's usually here.
