The options to suspend and hibernate have disappeared from the Gnome shut down menu. The only things that I remember updating is my kernel from linux-2.6.21-suspend2-r4 to linux-2.6.21-suspend2-r5 (but booting the to linux-2.6.21-suspend2-r4 kernel doesn't get it working). I also updated Gnome to 2.18.0 and gnome-power-manager.
I've searched around and wasn't able to find any ideas of what the problem could be. Does anyone have any idea what I could have done to mess it up?

Here are the versions of stuff:
Code:

*  gnome-base/gnome
      Latest version available: 2.18.0
      Latest version installed: 2.18.0

*  gnome-extra/gnome-power-manager
      Latest version available: 2.19.2
      Latest version installed: 2.19.2

*  sys-apps/hal
      Latest version available: 0.5.9-r1
      Latest version installed: 0.5.9-r1

Edit:
I just did a revdep-rebuild, but that didn't fix any of my problems sadly.
