Yes, I know that ps, top, iotop, nettop, iostat & dstat exist!
dstat gives you a lot of indicators, but from a global system point of view. The other tells you a lot about each processes, but with a specific focus: either the cpu/mem or the disk io or the network io.
What I would really like would be to understand what happens in 2 specific processes across all these indicators: cpu/mem/io/net-io/paging, etc...
Is there such a tool? If I could mix dstat with the "ps -C cmd1,cmd2", I would have exactly what I want...
Does something like that exist? |
