I know this is a a long shot, but does anyone know a way to specify package specific CFLAGS? I compile most of my stuff with -Os but every now and then, there's a package like octave or blitz that I compile with -O3. Is there a way to automate this process so that every time I need to emerge -uD world I don't have to manually single out octave or blitz or whatever? I'm thinking of something along the lines of package.use except for CFLAGS instead. Any ideas? _________________ "Fish have no will to live (will jump into bears' mouths?)"

Well start with using search button in the top left corner.
