|
|
I just emerged Opera 7.11 and now the fonts in konquerer, for file browsing, are all screwed up! Everything, including the toolbars, have little boxes where there used to be words!? I think it's a font problem because when emerging Opera it also emerges a new version of font-config (2.2.0-r2). I can still change the fonts in the control panel and 'ls' lists the files correctly. If someone has run into this before, any help would be great!

you could try to run fc-cache -f.
also, i think there were several people who had similar problems and i think it could be solved by remerging qt (and maybe also kdelibs). take a look around the forum.
good luck! |

Thanks very much! I ran 'fc-cache -f' and then rebooted to let the font server and other font stuff reload and it worked perfectly. _________________ Erant Semper Spes
