|
|
On successfully resuming from suspend2 hibernation using the file writer I find that my touchpad is AWOL,
I am using all the unload and load modules and have tried various other X related settings.
The log reports that the touchpad is found and the the configured mouse is
ps2EnableDataReporting: succeeded
but no pointer and when I switch to the terminal 1 from which the X session is run I have:
Synaptics DeviceOn called
Synaptics DeviceOff called
repeated three times...
Any suggestions on how to get the synaptics driver to reload or something after resuming - I have noticed something like this occasionally when switching around with VMWare workstation but not for a long time...
Plugging a USB mouse in summons the pointer and works (not the touchpad) but after disconnecting the pointer freezes and the touchpad remains unworking.

I have a similar problem with my USB Mouse (MX1000) using evdev.
I have to restart the X Server or change to VT before I hibernate.
I don't know if this is a solution for you. |
