I did a pretty big update this week, finally pulling in the 2.6.20 hardened sources. I updated my config file, and ran make all modules_install install, but the process fails with
Code:
  GEN     .version
  CHK     include/linux/compile.h
  UPD     include/linux/compile.h
  CC      init/version.o
  LD      init/built-in.o
  LD      .tmp_vmlinux1
arch/i386/mm/built-in.o: In function `do_page_fault':
: undefined reference to `__flush_tlb_one'
make: *** [.tmp_vmlinux1] Error 1

This doesn't happen when I use a config made with make defconfig.

You can see my config here.
If you need to see my emerge --info, look here.

I'm wondering what I set to break it? The updates I did didn't include any glibc or gcc updates, and revdep-rebuild yields no results either. I went back through the entire menuconfig making sure there weren't any strange or errant options set, but everything looked good to me. make oldconfig should reparse dependencies and remove obsolete flags, correct?

I'd appreciate knowing what I did...

Huh, I missed that in my search for a solution.

Thanks.
