I need to install a groupware product on a gentoo box and was wondering what the curent status of groupware suites are for gentoo.
I have been looking at phpgroupware, egroupware, and Opengroupware. I was looking for a package that will install cleanly from portage and has been tested on gentoo in a production environment. I would like to stick with php/mysql so I'm leaning towards phpgroupware right now.
Any suggestions or experiences with gentoo + a groupware package would be appreciated.
Thanks

Hi,
I tried phpgroupware a while ago... I left it for egroupware, since it was at the time poorly maintained and full of security holes. I would definitely advise to go with egroupware. i tested it in production on a small site (some 30 users), and it worked fine and was easy to maintain.
