|

Now that XFce 4.4 has finally hit stable I have upgraded, and without a hitch. However, there is one thing that seems strange and annoying, even though it isn't exactly a problem: when I maximize a window, a portion of the outer border is missing.
To illustrate, I have made two screenshots, one with Firefox as a normal window and one with the same Firefox maximized:

I have set the workspace borders to 70px on each side so that windows do not overlap with gkrellm and the two panels, but I have also tried 0px as a setting and the same thing happens. I have composite enabled and I use the current ~x86 nvidia drivers.
I have also tried other window decorations, but the same thing happens.

May this will solve the problem. In Xfce menu go to Settings -> Window Manager Tweaks -> Accessibility and there deactivate Hide frame of windows when maximized. _________________ I am /root and if you see me laughing you better have a backup. |

What? You're saying this is not a bug but a feature?
Thanks, that really did it. I can't get over it...

I was surprised as you as I saw this for the first time. It's really a feature...
