Hi all,

I have an issue with the libgphoto compiling. It's not "errors" but possible a "bug" with the ebuild. The cameras flags in the ebuild doesn't have anything separately for nikon (as I see it anyways). Now, if I don't choose a camera, then it'll compile for all the cameras, which I don't want to be happening. So, what do I do about it ??

I have a nikon coolpix 4600, which is supported by libgphoto
Code:
========================================================================
Mon Dec  4 10:22:10 CET 2006
========================================================================

This version of gphoto2 is using the following software versions and options:
gphoto2         2.3.0          gcc, popt(m), exif, no cdk, aa, jpeg, readline
libgphoto2      2.3.0          gcc, ltdl, EXIF
libgphoto2_port 0.7.0          gcc, ltdl, USB, serial resmgr locking
========================================================================
Number of supported cameras: 818
Supported cameras:
         ................
   "Nikon Coolpix 4600 (PTP mode)"
         ................

thanks
Saurabh

I am guessing that from the output that Nikon cameras use PTP mode, which means that your CAMERAS="PTP2" should enable support for it.

thanks, that fixes it. Initially I thought it was for some revised version of PTP (USB->USB2 kind :wink: :wink: )
