Now I may just be being a muppet, but I cat work out how to set up MyLink, and neither can any of my household (all linuxheads)....
I have it emerged, and I can quite happily *run* Mylinkd and MyLinkTK but I'm at a loss as to how to get one talking to the other and actually start playing.
Anyone have some ideas?
Thanks _________________ www.technomancer.me.uk |

i never got past the server settings startup either
if you want an angle to go at try editing the mylinkd server`s config files manually and see if you can join to it with a client that way, if you have any joy please post
the author restarted the project a while back but its been idle ever since, shame really because networked version would be class |

You have to configure MyLinkTk before you can create/request a gateway.
The IP you enter at the registration screen is your gateway's IP on the Server and not the Server's IP.
Don't feel bad - this took me over an hour to figure out - no docs.
Now I'm stuck trying to actually figure out the interface (coming from Uplink).
