hello,
when I run | Code: | | emerge --update system |
at some point portage complains it can't download debianutils-1.16.7.tar.gz . I'm not sure of the exact name because mozilla stopped working under gentoo (exits with exit status 11, I have yet to figure this out).
Is there a way around the debianutils issue? thanks

Without an error message, its difficult to say. Perhaps you just hit a bad mirror. Can you get the error by doing an "emerge -f debianutils"?

hello, the problem was apparently fixed overnight. Portage was able to emerge debianutils.
