does anyone tryed that?
it is said that it work under vmware and xen but qemu remains untested
it would be great if it could work under qemu because kqemu is free software and doesn't need a VT processor(vmware is proprietary and xen need a vt processor) |

Doesn't surprise me that its possible, but I don't think its going to be a very solid solution. They say only up to OGL 1.5 or so (no programmable shaders). For old stuff yes it would probably work fine, but for new games, there are sure to be functions that it doesn't implement that the games needs. Which means artifacts, bugs, and generally just rough overall experience. Not to mention, how many windows only games are out there that are in OpenGL anymore? _________________ Cats are deadly animals. You guys missed the important part. Quote: | VMGL is available for X11-based guest OS's: Linux, FreeBSD and OpenSolaris. | No windows, unfortunately. |
