Hola, recientemente instalé Gentoo. Como siempre, lo instalé con Gnome. La versión que me instaló es la 2.16.2. El caso, es que a diferencia de versiones anteriores, no me aparece la carpeta personal en el escritorio. No sé por qué. La verdad es que estoy dudando, es que si recién instalado el Gnome, me aparecía esta carpeta o no.

Me gustaría saber si en esta versión es que ya no aparece, o si sí aparece, por qué no me sale a mi. En caso de que sí debiera de salir, me gustaría saber si es posible crear un acceso directo o algo.

Quizás es que no se ha habilitado, si quieres puedes instalar el gconf-editor e irte a la sección Apps-> Nautilus, por ahí puedes modificar estas opciones.

Hola, he entrado en la sección Apps, y no me aparece Nautilus. No sé.

Al final pude solucionarlo. Para ello, arrastré desde lugares la carpeta personal al escritorio, y se me creó una copia.

Seria buena cosa que se fueran reportando los bugs encontrados ya que de no ser asi no se arreglaran nunca.

Arrastraste la carpeta pero en gconf-editor no aparece app/nautilus asi que no puedes marcar o desmarcar opciones al respecto por lo que el problema no esta resuelto.

Quizás no he tenido el problema por venir de gnome 2.14, voy a ver el bug

I don't understand spanish, but does anybody know a workaround?

Have you tried to drag and drop entries you want from "Places" menu to desktop?
