Bonjour @ tous je viens de me faire payé un macbookpro pour mon boulot et je voulais installé mon OS préféré dessus mais je bloque serieusement
Je souhaite pouvoir bénéficier au final d'un dual boot OS X et gentoo
Sur OS X j'ai installé boot camp et configuré le disque afin d'avoir une partoche OS X et une partoche Gentoo
J'ai aussi installé rEFIt pour avoir le menu au login et me proposé le boot sur tel ou tel partoche ...
J'ai donc installé mon gentoo sur la partoche destiné a lui même
j'ai ensuite installé un grub pour pouvoir booter sur mon gentoo
Malhreusement quand je boot le macbook j'arrive bien au menu de rEFIt mais quand je choisi de booté sur linux j'ai un message qui apparait :
"no bootable device -- insert a boot disk"
je galère depuis le début de la journée la dessus et pas moyen de trouver une solution a mon problème ...
En plus de ca j'ai un peu de mal a comprendre le procesus de boot du mac ce qui rend encore plus difficile la tache ...

Si vous avez des idées n'hésitez pas !!

Il load le kernel ou c'est direct après grub ?

Peux-tu nous donner ton grub.conf ?

C'est pire que ca puisqu'il ne load même pas le grub :'(

Tu dois peut-être installer grub sur le secteur de boot de partoche gentoo ... C'est quoi la séquence de bootage d'après le tuto que tu as suivi ?

Malgré que ton mac soit Intel, ne faut-il pas appliquer ce qui est mis dans la doc PPC ?

J'ai trouvé ça et ça, je ne sais pas si ça peux t'aider. En tout cas tiens nous au courant, je compte acheter un Macbook pro moi aussi et je compte aussi faire un dual boot Gentoo/OS X :)

Re bonjour la compagnie alors je vais essayé de répondre @ toutes les questions

Concernant le secteur de boot je l'ai déjà effectivement installé sur ma partoche gentoo
La séquence est la suivante : rEFIt => /dev/sda1 choix de l'os gentoo => /dev/sda3

La doc que j'ai suivi c'est celle ci http://www.odi.ch/prog/macbookpro/index.php

Alors en faite mon problème venait de mes doigts carrés ! Je n'avais tout simplement pas mis la partition /dev/sda3 en active via fdisk !
après le fdisk et un reboot il s'avère que mon mac démarre sans soucis sous gentoo :D
