|
|
Hi there!
I just built a new amd64 Gentoo... (Core 2 Duo), and I have a Lexmark printer
I always followed this howto in my 32bits systems: http://gentoo-wiki.com/HOWTO_Lexmark_Printers
Here is the result:
Code: |
# emerge -av lexmark-z600
These are the packages that would be merged, in order:
Calculating dependencies... done!
[blocks B ] =sys-devel/gcc-3.3* (is blocking app-emulation/emul-linux-x86-compat-1.0-r3)
[ebuild NS ] sys-devel/gcc-3.3.6-r1 USE="fortran gtk nls (-altivec) -bootstrap -boundschecking -build -doc -gcj (-hardened) -ip28 -ip32r10k (-multilib) -multislot (-n32) (-n64) -nocxx -nopie -nossp -objc -test -vanilla" 23,534 kB
[ebuild N ] virtual/libstdc++-3.3 0 kB
[ebuild N ] net-print/lexmark-z600-1.0.1 0 kB [2]

The driver seems to be 32bits and don't seem to want to use the emul-linux libs... (am I right?)
Somebody got it working?

Well, forget that
I searched for examples and I modified the ebuild... (yay)...
Now, let's learn how to modify a wiki and do the modification |
