Hi,
I installed the cutting edge Xine package via Portage last night, and this pulled in THIRTEEN unstable packages, which (of course) now show up every time I
for removal, and return the "stable" packages.
I remember reading something about being able to force Portage to ignore the packages UNTIL they were accepted as "stable" and then begin updating them again normally.
can someone point me at these docs or explain the procedure please?
thanks. |
